Designed with a modular, minimalistic and round aesthetic, this garage remote is both greyscale and versatile. It can be placed on a car dashboard or attached to car keys using the lanyard for easy access when opening the garage door.
I undertook a form and function project as part of my studies, where I was tasked with manipulating a company's branding and aesthetics to make a remote in which I chose to work on AIAIAI, which is known for its expertise in audio technology and distinctive design elements like roundness, modularity, lightweight, and greyscale.
I designed a garage remote inspired by AIAIAI's distinctive audio technology and aesthetic elements, such as roundness, modularity, lightweight, and greyscale. My process included sketching various forms, prototyping with foam, and rendering the final design using Fusion software.The ultimate objective was to create a garage remote that aligned with the branding and aesthetic of AIAIAI
